Nights full of light

I love this song. And I like it better in Italian.

Notte di luce
Una notte infinita
Una lettera che
Non sara mai spedita
Cos'e la realta
Non lo so piu
Ad occhi aperti
Il mio sogno sei tu

Io ti amo
Si, ti amo
Quanto ti amo

Guardo la gente
Mano per mano
Nessuno capisce
Quello che provo
Respiro il silencio
Dei tuoi pensieri
Un giorno sarai
Tutto quello che speri

Io ti amo
Si, ti amo
Quanto ti amo

I'm partial to the original Moody Blues version, but this is definitely nice.... maybe a quieter steamier verion of the original.

Forgive my ignorance but...who's that singing?

I love the Italian language - it's like music to me. Not too fond of pasta though...but pizzas are great :-)

BionicBuddha, Sandi, Starchild, thank you for your comments.

Gigi, he's a Greek tenor and his name's Mario Frangoulis. He was in Les Mis in the late 80's.

Lovely song!! I didn't know it, do you know who wrote it?

How can you not melt when you hear that version of the song. That man is marvellous. Too bad he's married. Do you think he likes stalkers?
He sounds just as good when he sings in Greek.
Thanks for sharing it.

Erica, the original version of the song (in English) is by Justin Hayward. The Italian version is just a translation of the original lyrics. I've just looked at the CD sleeve, and it says it's been "translated by Gala" but I have no idea who Gala is!

Kathy, oh no! Are you *sure* he's married?
