Happy Hallmark Holiday!

I had such a laugh when I saw this, I just had to post it. Enjoy Valentine's Day, folks - whatever you do!

Personally, my favourite bit about Valentine's Day (except for the chocs hubby usually brings home) is seeing men out and about carrying huge bouquets of flowers. It makes my heart smile :-)

Happy Valentine's Day to you! I haven't seen anyone out and about with flowers, but I have seen a few deliveries here in the office. I expect to see a lot of romance when we go out to dinner later this evening.

I saw your comment about "Pancake Tuesday." I am intrigued and would like to know more. I haven't heard of it.

I love the card too! Valentine's Day is especially complicated when it is in the middle of a workweek - -they should make it always on Friday or Saturday!

@ Susan Mo: Strange how deliveries aren't common over here - I don't remember the last time I saw flowers delivered in the office! On a day like Valentine's day (or Mother's day for that matter) what you tend to notice is men carrying bouquets on the train home. I went to the super market last night and every time I went past the flower stand, there were at least three men choosing flowers, and many men had bouquets in their baskets and trolleys :-)

@ Betty: Friday is better, as you could then faire le pont and have a nice long romantic weekend.

@ Susan Mo re: Pancake Tuesday: Did you see the comments page where I explained a bit more about the day? Let me know what else you'd like to know :-)

Pancake recipe here: English pancakes.

I prefer to call it the Chocolate Holiday, Tinsie, but I did think of this post as I was making friends with women at the Hallmark rack, all of us desperately trying to find just the right card.
