Paris in the spring

Sunning ourselves at the Louvre on Saturday afternoon.

Trying (and failing) to keep dry at the Ile St Louis on Sunday evening.

It's amazing what difference 24 hours can make...

Thanks, everyone :-) We had a fab time in Paris, despite the change in the weather - and the fact that we had to walk through *that* torrential rain to go catch our train back. We got soaked to the skin - thank God we had a change of clothes in our luggage!

Just..living, Eurodisney is great fun. You must go :-)

What about the food, Tinsie? We ate the most amazing food in Paris.

My other *great* memory is of my husband TRIPPING me as the Monkey and I were racing up the steps of the Eiffel Tower. He SO owes me another trip!

Mmmm yes - the food! I may have to do a post just about that.

Karen, you're definitely owed another trip, the sooner the better ;-)

Tinsie--I'll start pushing for that trip, maybe we can meet for crepes!

Sounds good to me! Perhaps I'll do a post with Paris recommendations to help you plan your trip ;-)

I hope ALL of my weather in London is like your day in Paris! Off we fly tomorrow -- can't wait!

Hi Betty, I'm afraid it's not likely to be the best weather - hope you're bringing a jacket and a brolly - but I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself anyway!

i am studying next to paris, it is a beautiful city but that's right that it could be... how to say it... very... changing!!

The weather in London is just as changeable, only the extremes aren't as pronounced. Paris was something else - the height of summer one day, complete washout the next. We still loved it though.
