This is a comic strip by Arkas, my favourite Greek cartoonist. The dialogue goes like this:
The man: Come on, let's go for a walk.
The dog: I told you, I'm bored. You go.
The man: OK, I'll go alone. You stay here and guard the house.
The dog: Fine. Put a sign on the door: Beware of Dog.
The dog: That way, if anyone comes in they won't trip over me.

That would be my tough guard dog, too! She's sighing her big, board sighs as I type.
How is the book? And the movie? Worth seeing?
Hahahaha ! I should put "Beware of cats" !
I knew what I forgot to bring back from Greece other than scandinavian crosswords - a couple of Arkas comic albums!
:-)))
@ Karen: I've only just started the book (The Unbearable Lightness of Being) - too early to tell. It's not really my kind of book, I'm only reading it for my bookclub.
I liked the movie (The Ugly Truth), it was very light and quite funny, exactly what you'd expect from a romantic comedy.
@ Marg: What? No trip to Protoporia?!
Maybe during my next trip! Plus, I might have a couple of Ισοβίτης and Κόκκορας at my parents' home!
Will wait for book review.
Will Hub sit through Ugly Truth?
Cool one....Tinsie...I enjoyed it...
LOL!
Glad you liked it, guys :-)
@ Karen: Yeah, I think so, it's more funny that soppy. Definitely a guy-friendly romcom.
Arkas is fantastic :)
The best kind o smart humour.
