Totally irrelevant Tinsie, but as you know on my Greek trip i bought the 'lucky eye' trinket. Well I showed it to my Mum yesterday and she nearly fainted...reason is that amongst the many Indian quack programmes she watches (it's OK, they have a PHD so that means they are experts!) they made a big deal about these and said that they could 'only be found in Turkey' and she's been wanting to get one... So, my big ask is - IF you can get hold of a couple more (apparently you should have them on your person) I would be grateful but I know you are busy, if not-it really isn't a big deal. we will simply have a lucky house... See what I have to put up with :(

Hi Tinsie! It looks it's getting hot... ;)

Blogtrotter is showing some sights of the most northern capital city in the world. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

@ Sandi: Chucky's turn is next week :-p

As for the eye/amulet, I'll see what I can do. It shouldn't be too much trouble finding a couple of small ones that you can wear on you.

@ Palmtreefanatic: Thank you :-)

@ Mediterranean Kiwi: It's a good museum, well worth a visit.

@ GMG: Northern capitals are always of interest. I'll be dropping by :-)

I am behind on WW, my last one was 66! If you drop by FP, you'll see I'm taking something of a blogging break this summer, so we'll see if we will ever get our WWs back in synch! It would be kind of fun to hit 100 together -- but whatever!

Bonnes vacances -- although I am going to try to READ some blogs this summer, so I may be back before back-to-school time.

I have a feeling I'll be skipping some WWs too over the summer months - it'd be great if we manage to celebrate 100 together :-)

Have a fab holiday and "see" you again in September if not before!
