OMG!!!! 38 degrees! I thre a few things in my case and debated over whether to bring a cardi or not?!
BTW - what a lovely story about your chance meeting with the old friend.. honestly, I do believe in the stars/cosmos and she was meant to come back in your life right now... what a nice thing to have happened. x x counting the days x Sandi

@ Per Stromsjo: I think the highest ever recorded in Athens is something like 45 or 46C so we have some way to go yet...
@ Sandi: Well.... according to the weather forecast, temperatures are unlikely to drop much below 22C even during the night. So forget about the cardi and bring lots of T-shirts and sleeveless tops instead xx

Gee, 38C. Like Betty C, we rarely hit those levels. 38C is the record temperature for Sweden and our local record would be slightly below.
