Yep, I took it during Switched On London, a lighting festival "that aims to highlight the importance of sustainable lighting design in the night-time urban environment". People go round the pool of London taking pictures of lit up buildings during the festival, it's really good fun. At the time when this pic was taken Loops and I had already spent a couple of hours taking pictures in the freezing cold, and I was getting a bit tired, so I sat on a bench while Loops took her time setting up her super duper camera on her super duper tripod. I saw a couple taking pics of the Tower of London, took my (decidedly less super duper) camera out and snapped this shot :-)

I love it, I love it! I have got to experiment a little with black and white...
I generally find colour photographs more interesting, but black and white ones are more dramatic. I'm really pleased with this one.
