Beautiful eggs. I hope you had a nice Easter.

My daughter is reading Twilight too. Do you know it is set in my home state?

@ Betty: Not had Easter yet - we're celebrating on 19th April in Greece this year.

I finished Twilight last night and can't wait to start New Moon! I knew I'd heard of Olympia, Washington, but wasn't sure where. Now I know - it's on your blogger profile :-)

You know there's also an Olympia (*the* Olympia of the Olympic Games etc.) in Greece, not far from where I grew up?

@ Shionge: Thank you :-)

Yes, I really did realize you celebrate your Easter at a different time, but was responding to the eggs.

And yes I do know that there is an Olympia in Greece because of the Olympics, first, but also because that's where my town is named after! So we always learned that in school...but I didn't know it was near where you grew up.

Hehe it's a small world :-)

Betty, I have a question for you: does the place in the book (Forks) exist in real life, or a place like it where it rains all the time (and it's not in the UK)? Just wondering...

YES, Forks does exist, it's this little-known (before now, anyway), out of the way town on the Olympic Peninsula, near the Olympic Rainforest -- so it does rain a lot there. It rains a lot in the whole area, actually (Olympia, Seattle...) but probably more up there near Forks.

Wow. I'd thought it was made up. How cool :-)

Dear Tinsie, I hope you had a fabulous Easter!!! I guess from the new book discussions that the door stop has been read - how many marks out of 10?? mine is still on my bedroom floor getting in the way ;)

Hi Sandi, I'd say 7/10. It wasn't as bad as I'd feared. In fact, I'd give it 8/10 if it wasn't as excruciatingly detailed as it was.

OK, thanks Tinsie, so I will pick it up from the floor and persevere with it... I bought a Mulberry bag on the weekend and it will fit nicely in there ;) good ol' Dirhams got exchanged and hey presto - new handbag!!!
